A family member of mine thought about 10K but the local TV station said 1K.
Looks closer to 10K to me.
Easily greater than 10K
Estimating crowds is difficult at best but I used to be involved in events where we brought in crowds of a little over 1,000 people. We knew the exact number because we counted tickets and heads. I know what a 1,000 people look like; I spoken to them over a mic from a stage, and in looking at the photos in post #20, I would say that there are a least 10,000 people there.
