FOX News' Greata Van Susteren will profile GOP VP candidate Sara Palin tonight in a one hour documentary. Here are some of the details:
Sarah Palin and her family have captivated voters since the Alaska governor was tapped to be John McCains running mate in a surprise decision a week ago.
Republicans have touted her corruption-fighting record, her small-town values and the energy many say she brings to the GOP ticket. Democrats have assailed her experience level and her position on abortion, while others have focused intently on her teenage daughters pregnancy.
But Palin has only been in the national spotlight for a short time, and theres plenty more to know about a woman seeking to become the first female vice president of the United States.
Tune in to a special FOX News documentary Saturday night for an intimate look at the family life of the GOPs vice presidential nominee.
Gov. Sarah Palin: An American Woman; hosted by Greta Van Susteren, premieres Saturday at 8 p.m. EDT on the FOX News Channel, with an encore at 8 p.m. Sunday.
Actually you are wrong. She is being extremely fair and has been to Palin since she was announced. She got into a fight on air over it BTW and she asked to do this special. This is a great, and so far, truthful documentary, following Sarah's life up through mayor and Governor so far.
OMG, folk have to see this. Piper is adorable!!
Yeah. it is great. I will bet there are more people watching tonight than you think.
Oh Don o, I am so sorry my wet suit and snorkel didn’t make it to the Hills of Tennessee in time to give you a lifeline before your Crazy Aunt Hanna visited...
Said the Democratic Party has been hijacked/
“Youll have to tell me how it goes. I cant stand Greta, five minutes of her is torture to me.”
Nancy Grace has that effect on me. Greta did a wonderful job and I’m sure the Palins are appreciative tonight to her for doing a great job.
Greta now deserves the exclusive first live sit down interview.
Newsweek Exclusive: Top Clinton Supporter John Coale Endorses McCain (Greta Van Susteren’s hubby)
You don’t see/hear much of her.
And Mary Matalin opened her legs for James Carville. I don’t listen to her, either.
I’ve heard a lot of Clinton people support McCain.
I’ve even heard Bill remembers how Mccain helped him in the 90s and privately he does too!
One big slip by the Obama people and Hillary will never campaign for McCain but might not do so much for Obama either.
This is footage shot earlier - evidently not by Fox. Greta will go to Alaska to do more on her show Monday night.
Don’t be surprised if Carville goes for McCain.
I just finished watching it. I enjoyed it. Greta was unobtrusive to be perfectly honest. Sarah was front and center and really shined. Come to think of it, shouldn’t Sarah’s theme song be “You Are My Sunshine?” I like that. And finally, a question for Gloria Steinhem - What do Sarah Palin, Catherine The Great, Joan d’Arc, Golda Meir, Margaret Thatcher and Queen Elizabeth I & II have in common? They share a chromosome! Just as Hillary does. So please, just shut your pie hole and recede into the obscurity you so richly deserve.
You know that 40 billion dollar gas pipeline will have done more to secure America’s Energy needs then an Entire Democrat Congress has in 2 years!
Sarah Palin is a bright cookie, she will bring that up I’m sure, lower energy prices=higher economic growth.
The Dhimmis don’t seem to “get” that...Palin does.
Very good mini docu.
I watched it and liked it. It confirmed all my positive imprssions about Sarah Palin.
On the other hand, Mort Kondracke on the Beltway Boys this evening ended the program by calling Sarah a “right-wing wacko.” This confirms my view that Kondracke is another left-wing sicko who has joined the vicious and sexist attacks on her - oh, and let me add that he is mean-spirited.
