FOX News' Greata Van Susteren will profile GOP VP candidate Sara Palin tonight in a one hour documentary. Here are some of the details:
Sarah Palin and her family have captivated voters since the Alaska governor was tapped to be John McCains running mate in a surprise decision a week ago.
Republicans have touted her corruption-fighting record, her small-town values and the energy many say she brings to the GOP ticket. Democrats have assailed her experience level and her position on abortion, while others have focused intently on her teenage daughters pregnancy.
But Palin has only been in the national spotlight for a short time, and theres plenty more to know about a woman seeking to become the first female vice president of the United States.
Tune in to a special FOX News documentary Saturday night for an intimate look at the family life of the GOPs vice presidential nominee.
Gov. Sarah Palin: An American Woman; hosted by Greta Van Susteren, premieres Saturday at 8 p.m. EDT on the FOX News Channel, with an encore at 8 p.m. Sunday.
Watching it now. :o)
So am I
So far it’s pretty good and very positive 20 minutes into it.
Any good? I don’t get Fox.
Dittos from Eureka Ca, just a few miles by kayak from Wasilla Ak...
You’ll have to tell me how it goes. I can’t stand Greta, five minutes of her is torture to me.
It’s good, alot of background information and what went on in Wasilla and how the First Dude took care of the childrens...
Footage from 2002 interviews with Palin, very detailed interviews.
The more I know about Palin, the more I love her!
I'm highly impressed with her and am glad to see Greta doing a fair and balanced report on Palin's credentials, life and personality.
Great. Sounds good. The only TV I’ve watched in the past several years was the Giuliani, Palin, and McCain speeches. I rely on fellow Freepers to suffer through the media and report to us. Sounds good, but not good enough to actually watch for someone who has sworn off the boob tube.
Oh, nice! Of all the people Faux News could have picked, it HAD to be Greta von Gasbag!
I can only IMAGINE what kinds of questions Sarah will be asked:
“Governor Palin, you stated you sold the jet on eBay and you drive to work - do you drive a white Bronco?”
“Governor Palin, you’ve often stated your support of family issues and education. Our viewers would like to know your opinion on the Natalle Holloway disappearence?”
“Governor Palin, during your speech to the convention, you mentioned ‘your opponents’, but you never once uttered the name of Barack Obama. Are you a racist?”
This should knock any criticisms of her by ‘Mother-loving-Dems’ out of the box. It won’t; but it should. . .Great story here!
Do you know if there’s an on-line version of the interview?
Greta’s actually been far more favorable towards Palin that most any of the rest of the media folks, and moreso than quite a number of Fox panel folk. She did a nice job with the interviews she’s conducted this week with various Palin friends and associates.
With her husband switching his support to McCain and the way Greta has been this week, I think she’s actually very possibly a Palin fan. Surely not to the extent of Megyn Kelly (LOL) but I’ve been pleasantly surprised with Greta since Palin. (And I’m not Greta’s biggest fan!)
Greta is wonderful, she is a different person working for FNC than she ever was on CNN. She is polite, informed, and honest.
This documentary is quite good, covers the good and the bad. Covering Troopergate now. She is not covering up anything.
Sarah is the American woman.
I know they are Mother - something, but I don’t think “loving” is quite the right word.
Keep both oars in the water - y’hear?
