Why I’m Voting for John McCain

By Burt Prelutsky

Frankly, I’m amazed that the Democratic party is anything more than a cult. How in the world do they garner more votes than the Libertarians or the Greens? They are beholden to trial lawyers, teachers unions, and the ecological crazies. So, why is it that upwards of 55 million Americans are ready, even anxious, to vote for Barack Obama in November? It’s a scary thought. But not half as scary as the notion of “Hail to the Chief” becoming Senator Obama’s theme song.

Democrats insist that we shouldn’t drill off the Pacific coast or in Alaska or in the Dakotas because they claim we wouldn’t get a drop of oil for at least 10 years. And that’s true, but only if the same left-wing idiots who are more concerned with moose than with people won’t allow the oil companies to build new refineries. Also, even if it were true that we wouldn’t be any better off for an entire decade, what do you suppose they’ll be saying in 2018, when gas is going for 25 bucks-a-gallon?

Speaking of the energy crunch, there’s a guy down in Georgia who claims that he can turn virtually anything, including grass clippings and table scraps, into methane gas...

“Why I’m Voting for John McCain”

Because it’s the only way that I can have Sara in the White House this year.

Yes. Satire of which every word is true. In fact, it’s understatement.

With the kind of positions the Democrats advocate, they shouldn't be a viable party at all and their candidate shouldn't be in contention for the White House. I wonder what is it about them that leads half the country to take complete leave of its senses every four years!

I am voting for John McCain for a lot of reasons. My favorite, but not the most important, is to drive Liberals insane.

After much conflict, I am voting for McPain.

I am pissed as hell that McPain has redefnined traditonal family values through Sarah. Sarah is a sassy one. I like that. She says what MALES won’t SAY and DO. Shame on you BOYS out there! SHe SHAMES you effimate boys pretending to be men.

Our poilcy for girls growing up is LEARN, LEARN, LEARN. When you have your education out of the way, GO FOR IT. Be a Sarah Palin THNE. Marry - still GOF OR IT. When kids come AFTER marriage then it is FAMILY FIRST otherwise you could have Sarah Palins family. As for Dad, he will be the bread winner. Our daughter’s husband will not be Me. Mom.

Since Obama is a nightmare we will vote for McPain in the arse. We REJECT their redefined family values and REJECT role reversal.

Why? because he’s the only tolerable & viable choice - despite not doing well on either of those.

Sarah makes the choice palatable, in the hope that someone close to what we really want might at least be #2.

“Off your meds again?”

No. LIBERAL FAMILY VLAUES aren't for us.

Why do you think NO ONE criticizes Michele Obama? She worked and supported her disaster of a husband. Sarah is doing the same thing. It is also Michele that wears the pants in that household. This is why LIBERALS aren't critical of women who denigrate males. You are sooo stupid ... you're buying into to LIBERAL FAMILY VALUES and have a attitude about it.

We'll remain CONSERVATIVE and be there to raise our own kids. We won't outsource them for money or selfish ambition. This is precisely what is a major factor with the BREAKDOWN of the FAMILY. NO one is paying attention to what the kids are doing - even Mr. Mom wasn't noticing! Shame on males who let the women do what they should be doing.

After much conflict, I am voting for McPain.

Why is it that LIBERALS must always resort to name calling? "Off your meds again?" As YOU just did. Is it because they can't defend the redfining of tradional family values to LIBERAL FAMILY VALUES?

"Sarah is doing the same thing."

Are you equating Sarah's husband to the likes of ZerObama?

I think the reason why not many people are criticizing michelle is - regardless of how "UN-proud" she is of America" - SHE is not the one running of office.

Whereas Mr. Palin has always been a hard worker and supported in family in ways that far surpass "community organizer".

If I understood you inference, I don't think it's fair...if I didn't then please explain it to us.

LOL! Sarah's husband is no “messiah”.

You purposely missed my point. Shame on you for your poor obfuscation. Her hubby is a nice Jasper Milk Toast kind of guy.

Ah, but she would LOVE to. Did you catch those pouting faces. The New Yorker magazine pegged her RIGHT. It's another Hitlery/Bill deal in the making.

Whereas Mr. Palin has always been a hard worker and supported in family in ways that far surpass “community organizer”.

Again, stop changing the focus of my reply. You conveniently ignore my points.

If I understood you inference, I don't think it's fair...if I didn't then please explain it to us.

No, you tried to obfuscate my point. Sarah's husband is a patriot but I would prefer him not playing the Mr. Mom role which didn't help Bristol out much ... . Oh or was he WORKING? Two working - who was taking care of the kids? Anyone? Hmmmm ?

My point was made. No matter how you try to refocus my reply, I made it clear.

FrankR, do you really want YOUR WIFE wearing YOUR pants? Hmmmm? FrankR, I think I know you .... from another forum ... . If I am right, don't disappoint me ... .
