Sorry for the delay. My internet was dead for three days.

As for Zardari, my opinion of him isn’t great, but I’ll take him over Osama, obviously. In a previous article he admitted that the Taliban was winning the war in Pakistan, the war against the Paki military and the coaltion forces. That was rather disappointing to hear; I’d rather have someone in power who will at least try to take the fight to the Taliban. The only way they’ve won the war is if you let them win. Also, he’s not in the military, he’s a democratically-elected figurehead with powers limited by the constitution. Musharraf’s military dictatorship could at least keep somewhat of a lid on things. That’s the type of leadership you need in a country like Pakistan. Democracy won’t work in a place full of terror sympathizers. And, given his own 10% approval rating, he’s not too popular among the Pakistanis either. That could be a good thing though, since many Pakis sympathize with bin Laden. We’ll just have to see what he does.
