It’s authenticity, my friend.
Yes, it is authenticity. This can’t be faked. We can distinguish between a real, unpretentious, graceful, remarkable young lady of singular accomplishment and a phony media creation with legions of fawning sycophants backing him. It’s hard to fool those in the heartland. This authenticity was also exhibited by Piper Palin when she wet her fingers and slicked back her baby brother’s hair so that he might look sharp before a national audience. That moment was precious. And what a contrast to the preening and pretentious Obama and his coterie of servile suplicants in the media. Obama is an empty box in pretty wrapping and gaudy wrapping at that. He’s living proof of Lincoln’s “but you can’t fool all of the people, all of the time.” People are beginning to see through this fraud who confuses his popularity and the worship he receives from a fawning press with accomplishment. He’s no messiah, but rather a tinhorn pharoah acting out a role.
