(Washington Post)Palin's Ex-Brother-in-Law Says He Regrets Bad Blood
Washington Post ^

The state trooper at the center of Gov. Sarah Palin's "Troopergate" scandal denied yesterday that he ever threatened to kill Palin's father and expressed regret that his case has exploded into the national media. I would like to put this behind me and move on with my life," Trooper Mike Wooten said in an interview with The Washington Post. "I don't wish ill will on anyone. I think that the nomination that Sarah got is great for the state of Alaska. I wish her good luck and the family good luck. I honestly think that everyone involved in this wanted to put this beyond us." He also voiced pride that he had once been part of the Palin family. "I was a member of that family for five years. I cherish those memories," he said. "I will carry them with me for the rest of my life. There are several things that will be handled differently on my part, and if I could do it over differently, I would."

I'm sure that he would like to put this behind him. After he screws Palin to the wall, of course.

What are you talking about...this isn’t about him...this is about her firing his superior.

Looks like Obama sent Naomi Wolf to meet Wooten and give him kind and gentle talking points to prepare for the Obamamedia's coming "Troopergate" assault on Sarah Palin.

The reality is Wooten is an animal who is clearly lying about everything. The CNN guy clearly thinks he is a liar from the video. "Troopergate" will fall to pieces when American women find out the horrible stuff this maniac cop did to the Palin Family.

He was found to have violated state policy for using a Taser on his 10-year-old son, killing a moose while using his wife's permit, drinking a beer before driving a state vehicle and having an open beer can in the vehicle.

What a great guy. Notice how the dims dropped this when the facts came out.

Sounds like he’s trying to man-up. Hope he’s sincere.

This is an astounding development. Probably 80% of the attacks that the left launched on Palin (troopergate, rumors of an affair) derived from this guy. Or at least, those which had any possible basis in reality.

Sorry buddy. You’re in the rump roast in the middle of the “mainstream media’s” feeding frenzy. The Kommies need a way to get Governor Palin off the ticket and you’re their fresh meat.

The media and dems must be so sad, they were sure when they got their hands on this guy he would attack Palin. But the guy has been in trouble for his actions before, Palin is his kids’ aunt, etc and he obviously wants no part of this fight.

Me too. I hope he has learned the badge gives him more responsibility to obey the law, not the power to skirt it. Maybe he has turned over a new leaf and will be a model trooper from here on out. I hope so for the sake of the citizens of Alaska.

"I don't wish ill will on anyone. I think that the nomination that Sarah got is great for the state of Alaska."

Can you imagine the sinking feeling he must have had when he suddenly realized the woman he tried to kick around is about to be a heart beat away from being the most powerful human being on Earth.

Talk about Sh!t'n a brick!

I’m so disgusted with all of this pussyfooting around in the media. Why don’t they take off the kid gloves and really go after this woman and all the obvious evil she stands for?

What I’m really interested in is the hidden dirt on Mrs. Palin’s brother’s barber. Who really knows what kind of person her uncle’s fishing buddy really is and what kind of things did he do in 1958? I’ll also bet that there’s a skeleton or two in the closet of the guy that dug her parent’s well. What about the grocer that sold produce to Sarah’s babysitter’s parents? Then there are those juicy rumors about the framing crew that framed the Palin house - whoa! Don’t forget the mailman, paperboy and telephone installers, too. In short, that whole stinking town of Wasilla is just waiting to be cracked open like a ripe melon and none of these ‘journalists’ is really willing to take on the tough job that needs doing. Where are the Edward R. Murrows of today?

Huh?

Why aren’t these MSM b@st@rds digging hard enough to bring the TRUTH to light? What kind of payoff did Cheney make in order to silence genuine truth seekers? I am the American public and I demand an answer!

Fella must have looked at himself in the mirror a couple of times and realized there was something lacking. You gotta know your limitations. To some, there are too many.

scratch another story for KOS and DU. They are coming up empty and out of breath each time. They might as well just drown themselves

If he really regretted his actions he’d keep his king-sized yap shut. The EX-state trooper’s rap sheet is longer than Kwame Kilpatrick’s.

Sheesh.
