He (Boroujerdi) cites what he calls "royalists" who left the country decades ago. Royalists "frequently have a pretty nostalgic view of Iran and may not necessarily know as much about what is going on in Iran today.
That's not fair IMO. Understanding the Imperial era of Iran is essential to properly acknowledge the tragedy of events that led to the Islamic regime and the significance of the current problems.
