The Savage thread encompasses an 'independent' perspective on what conservatism entails, nonetheless the majority of principles on this forum are the same principles Savage advocates, so to encourage others to demean, harass, and bait us simply because we don't have the same views you do about Savage is 'beneath' the spirit of civility in discussions that I'm sure this forum is meant to foster, but then as Checkers likes to say "but you already knew that".
Sorry that’s not answering my question, others who have become disgusted with Savage don’t continue to frequent this thread just to bash him, why do you?
I soured on Rush when he said he wasn’t going to carry the water for the ‘pubs anymore (after the 2006 election), thus making me wonder how long he had been doing that.
Savage says they all get GOP talking points daily, one can only wonder what talk show hosts (Rush, Levin, Hannity,) uses them to base their shows' content on, I guarantee you however Savage doesn't.
Sorry, AGAIN, you’re not addressing my point, I never said you didn’t have the RIGHT to come on the Savage thread anytime you feel the need to disagree with him on the issues, but if you no longer listen to him, why the need to come back on his thread when your only purpose is to join others in bashing him?

Harry Reid is not a good example, for one he is not a talk show host and if he were he definitely could not draw 8-10 million listeners who would tune in to hear his OPINIONS on things the way they do with Savage, try starting a Randi Rhodes or an Ed Schultz thread here on FR and see how long it lasts.

You can have your OPINION on Savage's conservatism or lack thereof all you want but it doesn't change things, the Savage thread REMAINS on FR, REMAINS syndicated by Talkradionetwork, CONTINUES to be broadcast on hundreds of stations throughout the country, even 'LIVE' on 1370 Austin because Savage basically espouses the same conservative principles they do. AND last time I checked the name of this site is still FreeRepublic and not Lormand-Republic
