I know of at least two or three who are honest, true intention Conservatives here, who honestly believe that Paul is a Conservative hero like Reagan. Debating them, they are real Conservatives, but I believe they are projecting a lot of their beliefs on Paul. Paul is like silly-puddy (or a Rorschach test) really just a reflection of the viewers belief.
Look at his congressional record. There is no more principled stand against government spending, growth, plunder, or usurpation than Paul's. He's also non-interventionist which is consistent but makes him anathema to so many of us.
