Don’t know, but I would guess this was written right after the SaddleSore Church appearance.
Wow! Way to go, Victoria - I always liked her...
I’d like to see more from her, and I hope she continues to write!
We were just watching UHF the other night and I was wondering what she was up to these days.
But........”with God’s values”? Obama believes he is God doesn’t he?
I knew I had a crush on this girl for a reason...Praise God, she’s become a believer!!
Victoria was raised in a Bible-believing, piano-playing, gymnastic home with no TV. Her dad was a gym coach so she competed in gymnastics from age 5 to age l8. Was a cheerleader, and a homecoming queen. Attended Florida Bible College; received gymnastic scholarship to Furman Univ., attended Auburn Univ. one year and ended up in Hollywood, California via summer-stock in Alabama, where she met Johnny Crawford (of "The Rifleman" (1958) fame). Crawford put her in his night club act, and later sent her a one-way ticket to the show-biz capital. Supporting herself as a cigarette girl and as a typist at the American Cancer Society, and waitress at a retirement hotel, she performed stand up comedy for 2 years until _The Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson_ (1962) put her act (which consisted of her doing a handstand while reciting poetry) on national TV. Following her 22 appearances with Johnny, she starred in many movies and TV shows, most notably "Saturday Night Live" (1975). In l99l she re-united with her high school sweetheart, married him, and moved to Florida where he's a police helicopter pilot. As a mother of two, homemaking is her priority now, but she's always available to perform ...if the price is right! She just recorded a children's album called "Ukelele Lady" by Choo Choo Records, available in record stores now. She's compiling an album of her original songs, i.e. "I Am Not A Bimbo", and Where Do You Draw the Line Between Love and Adultery?", to sell on the Internet. Recently she has guest-starred on sitcoms such as The Naked Truth (1992) and "The 700 Club" (1966).
To be completely fair, I should say “Why should we listen to celebrities, blah blah blah”...but I can’t. She has more of a grasp of rhetoric here than anything I’ve ever seen come from Babs or The Lohan. I just CAN’T dismiss it so easily.
Barack’s campaign manager. Mr’s Axlerod, writes all his responses. And Axlerod ain’t a Christian
Don’t worry, VJ, here come Sarah Palin and McCain. The choice couldn’t be clearer, and voters aren’t stupid.
Hussein's problem here wasn't one of Bible memorization... he forgot who HE was.

A has-been, never-very-funny comedienne’s two cents worth is okay, I suppose.
I bet she doesn’t have a lot of friends out of the SNL crew in her day.
Hahaha. She’s got the so-called “religious Left” (an oxymoron if I ever heard one) dead pegged. Biblical Christianity to the Left is some exotic land they are required to visit in a national election cycle in order to appear to have “street cred” with true Biblical Christians. They take a flying visit to the country, but they still just don’t understand the customs, the culture, or the natives. They’re like city dwellers dressed up in chaps and Stetsons at the dude ranch.
Wow is that a recent picture? She’s still cute! :)
re: Thank God for people like VJ. She was hilarious on SNL, and she still sees things correctly. Stardom did not blind her to reality.
I agree! The majority of us posting on this forum use special user names to identify ourselves. If we had to use our real names, many of us would not post. Having a very public record of our views could cause a lot of trouble for us in our jobs, especially if we are surrounded by Libs. Anonymity gives us a large amount of courage while giving us cover. But Victoria Jackson is very courageous to state her opinions so openly, especially considering her involvement in the entertainment field. God bless her!
Telling it like it is.

There is one place in the Bible where sin is defined very clearly: 1 John 3:4 “Sin IS the transgression of the law”.
There are many places where we can easily figure out what “law” is being talked about. It is the Ten Commands. For those not familiar with the Bible, one place they are given is in Exodus 20.
NB: Socialism must violate three of the Ten: lies, coveting and theft. “Social Justice” is a futile attempt to define secular values for those expressed in the Ten Commands.
Near as I can tell, Sarah Palin thinks like Victoria Jackson, looks like Tina Fey and her voice sounds just like Julia Sweeny. Who knew that SNL women were the embodiment of the empowered conservative female?
