CNN has an exclusive which was aired at lunchtime today which concerns the whole matter. I didn’t catch it soon enough to get any info but I’m sure it will be re-aired.
The trooper was an undisciplined thug.

Can you give us a direct link to a list of the files? I’m usually pretty good a hound dogging, but I even tried to do a search on the Alaska Daily news website on some of the keywords and couldn’t find the files. Your links both go to the same .pdf file of Sarah ‘s e-mail. I want to see investigation documents to see what their conclusions are. Anything you could do to assist would be appreciated!

I realize that Gov. Palin requested an ethics investigation into all of this, but my question is, how can the State Legislature investigate a civilian, which is what Sarah Palin was when she filed the complaint against Wooten?
She’s going to have to learn to use the telephone for this level of detail and not leave a paper trail the left can hang her with.
She is wise to go to the Legislature on this, looks like the troopers are trying to supply cover for their own.
I can’t even post what I think about a worthless sack of crap that would taser an 11 year old boy and ‘offer’ to do the same to Bristol Palin.

YOU ARE CORRECT. NICE CATCH. HER LETTER IS DATED AUG 10, 2005 AND SHE BECAME GOVERNOR DEC 4, 2006. Sadly they are going after her and facts mean NOTHING.

You have got to be kidding me. This exonerates her to a great degree. She has corrobative sources for teh allegations, and many witnesses.
She is basically pleading for the Alaska State Troopers to do something about this guy. This email was sent BEFORE she ran for governor.
SO, she becomes governor, does nothing, and the guy ends up killing someone. This email surfaces. They could blame Palin for protecting her BIL and not terminating him.
Palin was caught in a Catch-22.
I hope that she DID fire Monegan for not doing anything against this guy.
