But I am thrilled with the pick of Sarah Palin because as he may try to drift to the left, she will be challenging him to think about the impact. This is important because I think that better decisions will be made as a result.

The other point is that McCain understands that the media are not his friends. And being friends with Joe Lieberman, he knows that the Democrats are not his friends.

Republicans need to shake themselves up in order to get right with what conservatism is supposed to be all about. And it’s necessary to win.

I am much more hopeful than I was when I was thinking that it could be Tom Ridge.

The day after Palin’s speech was pure joy. Last night I was probably projecting all my negative thoughts about the amnesty kid. Especially at the end when he talked about bipartisanship. Anyway I hope his campaign team knows what it's doing. McCain is like Winston Churchill compared to Obama’s Karl Marx and his red army sycophants. So the choice is clear. I'd just like to be confident that once he's in office we can stop amnesty all all that other nonsense McCain supports.
