To sum up Rush: Sarah Palin has unified the party. McCain had to do that and that is why McCain's choice of Palin is Brilliant. Having accomplished that task, it frees McCain to do what he does best, which is to woo the moderates and undecideds. Looked at in that light, McCain's speech was a good one. Not great, but good. A "workmanlike" speech.
McCain was offering “something bigger than all of us”
Obama was saying “i am god” to the glory days of Jimmy Carter.
McCain offered humility UNDER god and the future.
BTW, notice how all the speakers on McCain’s team were the RINO insiders? Graham, Mel AMNESTY Martinez, and a host of other buzzkillers.
