Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread - Friday 9/5/08
The EIB Network ^ | September 5, 2008 | Rush Limbaugh

Posted on 09/05/2008 8:22:17 AM PDT by TSchmereL

AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! America's Anchorman, Truth Detector, Doctor of Democracy, and Chief of the Patriotism Police. He is the man who runs America. He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do--That's host. Get ready to what you were born to do--That's listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

"We love to hear Rush Limbaugh,
Excellence in Broadcasting.
From sea to shining sea,
Millions and millions listen.
Conservative voice of freedom,
Heard throughout all America.
A message pure and truthful,
The downhearted are encouraged.
Integrity and honesty his motto.
We love you, Rush.
Listen to Rush Limbaugh.
G-d Bless You, Rush Limbaugh."

"Somebody bloody well ought to get to the bottom of it."

I agree. I think it has to be media. Do things like this happen at Dim events? Seems like every time Chenney gets TV time to speak, the hecklers are there. Calculatus elimateus leads me to think that the media has a hand in it, and probably someone on up the ranks.

but that's just me speculating.

Screw em. If McCain has an ASCAP license and you know they do, Heart can do squat.

I am loading up Barracuda for the FR Canteen tonight right now. We have an ASCAP licence

Sounds reasonable. Why can't we get a candidate who can speak? Haven't had a captivating top-of-the-ticket guy now in almost 20 years.

It was almost sad to watch McCain use his gestures for emphasis. But as you said, his polling must suggest that he start tacking left.

But for those people who think we aren't going to take a bath in the House and Senate, I've got news for you: only by the grace of God are we going to avoid a 60-vote Senate majority for the Dems.

McCain says they broke him ...but how? By getting him to admit his name? What exactly did he mean....

I took it to mean that they broke his will to live and fight. That he momentarily lost the resolve to care about this situation or his life.

Slightly off-topic, but has RUSH ever addressed the rip-off of the “white Comedian” Paul Shanklin Sam Cooke parody used in an Obama ad.

Yea, on the Bush economy Obama omits all the crisis America faced, 2 terrorist attacks on the twin towers, 1 on the Pentagon, the other jet heading for the Capitol, Enron, Clinton recession, Fannie Mae/ Freddie Mac, ect. Just recovering the the Sept. 11th attacks took time, Duh’bama

I’m just a little disappointed none of those delegates took the opportunity to deck her. It’s time the GOP toughened up and started sending these provacateurs to the hospital

Could it be the blue states where Democrats have raised taxes and driven companies out of business?” Makes sense to me.

Yes, including the indirect energy "tax" of higher prices, industrial mix (SUV product lines, etc.).

O-ver and his campaign keeps harping that McCain / Palin did not address the economy. OH YES THEY DID! Drill Here, Drill Now, Economy explodes (in a good way)!

I imagine it means he either gave them some information, or he begged for them to stop.

LOL parody. But actually, he describes it well. Community Organizer = Tammany Hall ward healer, now bringing “peace and harmony to the hood.”

I believe I read that McCain did sign some sort of “confession” after being brutally tortured for months. It had no merit, of course, and he denounced it as soon as he was freed. I’d have cracked a lot sooner than he did. Like about 5 minutes after they started torturing me.

McCain can’t lift his arms any higher.

The best part was his closing. That was his most sincere part.

The immigration part was a tortured landmine of avoidance.

Obama wrote two autobiographies before he even had a life to write about.

I will be running for PRESIDENT in 2012. I mean if Zero-bama can with his resume, I think I'll ask ExxonMobil if I can be CEO of them, then I'll run for president, because I'll have more expirence than he does!!

After I finish my CEO work I'll write 3 books -- 1 on the Inca civilazation, the second book on the life of Nathan Hale and the third my autobiography.

Then before running for president, I'll run for my town selectman.

So in 2012 vote for me RightWingTeen!! LOL (of course, I'll be underage for president)

Fecund in command [Mark Steyn]

As National Review’s in-house demography bore, I’ve been struck this last week by the left’s fierce hostility to Sarah Palin’s fecundity. One gentleman - well, okay, maybe not a “gentleman” but certainly an impeccably sensitive progressive new male - wrote to me from Shelton, Washington:

This abortion prohibitionist hag won’t cut it among women with brains. And BTW she is a good example of reproduction run amok. 5 kids; 1 retard. I wonder if the bitch ever heard of getting spayed.

Each to her own, Mister Sensitive. You can be a 44-year old mother of five expecting her first grandchild and serving as Governor of Alaska. Or you can be, like Martha Stewart’s daughter Alexis, a 43-year old single “career woman” hosting a satellite radio show and spending $28,000 a month on “intracytoplasmic sperm injection” in hopes of becoming pregnant. Every woman has the “right to choose” her own path through life, but it’s a lazy assumption to take for granted that most Americans find Sarah Palin’s choices as freakish as our metropolitan elites do.

What was it the feminists used to say? “You can have it all.” Sarah Palin is a mom, and the first female governor of her state. But the enforcers at the National Organization of Women dismiss her as “more a conservative man than she is a woman”.

Golly. These days, NOW seems to have as narrow and proscriptive a view of what women are permitted to be as any old 1950s sitcom dad.
