The so-called ‘excitement gap’ seems to have disappeared.

I think Palin got people interested in this ticket. She really was a shot in the arm. McCain has been around...forever. Biden has been around.....forever.
If feels like Obama has been around forever, and is over exposed. Sarah is fresh and people will not be tired of her in just 60 days.

As has been said many times: Obama's support is a mile wide and a inch deep. I think this shows that statement to be true. Looks like the big MO has changed sides.

The novelty of Obama’s celeb status has worn off. That’s all he had, now he’s got nothing. Sarah Palin is the new hot celebrity as politics go, and she’s got all the celebrity appeal of Obama, plus 10 times the substance.

John McCain does not have the glitz, but he’s got some fire. His speech last night was rather typical political stuff, but I really liked the ending.

Going last, bigger audience, better message, new celebrity status...there are some positives for McCain/Palin.
