Anyway, back on the topic of McCain's speech. This morning CNN was talking about how Sarah Palin would be able to handle position of commander-in-chief of the military, because, according to CNN, "it's a very likely fact that she will be, given McCain's age and health condition." They then went to further analyze why she would fail epically as commander-in-chief by making the statement that "she was a woman, and there's a danger that she might put her family over her country." Why didn't this same question come up about billary? The question is somewhat rhetorical, but I'm gonna say that it's because she's not a woman.
And talk about being sexist. When they were discussing family, the question arose about Obama, and his two small children. When asked why he wouldn't have the same problem of family over country, the response was "well, he's a man."
Don't worry, I was only watching CNN because I had no choice, it was the only thing on, and I'm not allowed to change the channel.
He is? The way he was crying over being beaten up by a girl and sending out other girls to save him, you sure could've fooled me.
Aha! So Sarah Palin's son, Track Palin, is not, or has not already been sent to Iraq as a member of the U.S. Army. (sarc)
Quotes like the above beg to be ridiculed. Clearly the authors of this kind of nonsense rely on "fooling some of the people"...that is, those who aren't savvy enough to see the difference between freedom and socialism.
