I’ve heard Gretchen Wilson perform “Barracuda” live. Maybe they should get a live recording of Gretchen singing the song. That’s chap Ann Wilson’s big fat hide.
I saw Gretchen Wilson perform Barracuda with 9-inch Nails on one of those Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction type shows. I have always loved Heart (saw them again recently w/Journey - Awesome concert, BTW ) But Gretchen Wilson has every bit the range as Ann, and the fact that she is young and attractive made it that much better. Nancy came out with her guitar about half way thru Gretchen's performance.
As far as getting a Gretchen Wilson version, I'm sure there are some things performers would just not do to each other despite any political differences.
