Palin is a winner and too good to be tossed for 3rd party idealism.

I'm not arguing that that is wsrong. But another way it could happen is that McAmnesty crosses the aisle again so much in his presidency that he passes the Dem's agenda for them. Whatever he does will be construed as being 'conservative', and by association, with Palin.

How many times has the VP of a very unpopular president, especially with their own party, won the next presidency?

I'm hoping that him picking her means he's seen the light. But, since it's McAmnesty we're talking about who loves to side with Dems over his own party, we won't know till it's too late. I think what he and she say during the debates will be a clue.

“But, since it’s McAmnesty we’re talking about who loves to side with Dems over his own party, we won’t know till it’s too late.”

oh, I think he’s saying it loud and clear. Those who’ve been distracted by Sarah are practically jumping up and down with glee, but their fingers are in their ears, because they’ve got Sarah now and she’s the only way they can rationalize supporting him. It will be very interesting to see if they change their mind about her if her position on amnesty/illegal immigration/border security falls in line with his.

I wonder if McCain considers Juan Hernandez a “willing Patriot”.

“I don’t work for a party. I don’t work for a special interest. I don’t work for myself. I work for you,” McCain said”

.....”And after we’ve won, we’re going to reach out our hand to any willing patriot, make this government start working for you again, and get this country back on the road to prosperity and peace,” McCain said.”
