Take a look at the Polar Cap today compared to last year and you see that there is definitely more ice than last year. http://igloo.atmos.uiuc.edu/cgi-bin/test/print.sh?fm=09&fd=04&fy=2007&sm=09&sd=04&sy=2008

There hasn't been much change in the past few days, so I would expect that the ice would start freezing again in a couple of weeks. If the ice grows back to good levels (like it did last year), the “North Pole will be ice-free” proponents are going to have to focus on these “ice” is breaking free stories.

They don’t even allow for Summer anymore? geez.

TWC was even connecting hurricane strength to Global Warming.

That’s a very good site. Compare today with the ice cap in 1996 (one of the warmest years recently), and you’ll see that the ice cap was much larger then.
