Rush brought this up (Advice: Disregard All the Polls)on his show.

Basically, his point is that if the polls have a less than expected jump, then it'll make us worried, and begin to second guess ourselves. Or, on the other hand if there is a huge jump, the gain will gradually erode over time to depress us and therefore give up.

Personally, I've never trusted polls as they are just statistics that can be easily manipulated to get whatever outcome one desires.

Have faith in the fact that most Republicans, Independents, and some Democrats who have watched the convention are just as elated as you to see someone who understands us (a hockey mom to boot), other than a lawyer, picked as VP!
