“Dave” was odd. A “regular guy” becoming president is no big deal (even thoguh it was presented as a coup-détat in the movie), I would expect movies to pander with that sort of folksy appeal. But since when is it the job of the president to get everyone American a job? Did Lord Keynes write some new constitution in the that fictional world?
