Seldom has a candidate more jolted a political campaign than Sarah Palin has - simply by joining John McCain's ticket.
She has energized the Republican base, as is electrifyingly clear from the rapturous reception she got at the GOP convention.
She has ignited a heated debate over gender roles, family values and readiness for presidential service, as basically everyone in America knows.

It’s funny how the media keeps saying “women and Hillary voters feel insulted after last night.”

Spot on: “The rush to judgment about all things Palin, including the pregnancy of 17-year-old Bristol, has been more revealing about the state of American political debate than about the candidate who triggered the frenzy.”

, at once a folksy voice of small-town America, a skewering, humorous critic of Barack Obama and an engaging cheerleader for McCain. Devastating combination by the way.
I'm very amused to now see the Democrats back peddling with the accusation of sexism. This is payback which is oh so sweet. Everything from the attacks on former President Clinton when he called Obama's ideas the stuff of fairy tales and he was skewered by the Obama bunch as being racist and the other "racist" accusations whenever anyone would criticize the blessed one. This includes the various criticisms of Senator Clinton. To see them squirming around and trying to refute the accusations is sweet irony indeed.

Before Wonder Woman goes to sleep at night, she checks under her bed for Sarah Palin.
Sarah Palin doesn't hunt - she stares down at the caribou and they commit suicide in front of them.
Grizzly bears picking off salmon when they swim upstream will reserve a spot for Sarah Palin.

This presidential race is the tortoise and the haire.
The elitist haire mocking the tortoise as he blazed on by yet the tortoise plugged along and now at the very end, Obama was caught sleeping. Hoepfully the end of this race coincides with that race's ending.
