Yeah Alan Colmes pointed out with so much class that Track was born (gasp) only about 8 months after their elopement.

sheesh!

You guys worked hard!

Good for you. We got married about halfway through college too, had one kid show up just at the end of my hubby’s senior year (I worked while he finished school). I didn’t finish. Sometimes I think about it and then sometimes I wonder if it’d have been worth it...so much liberalism on college campuses.

Exactly. I had to work to pay every penny of my college expenses. I really appreciate my education and respect anyone who had to do the same to get through. PhD sweet!!!

Long ago: 1984.

It was actually fun; I'm not complaining or saying it was a hardship. As for the degree, I've never used it, although the programming I taught myself to do my thesis got me started in my eventual career. Better money and I don't have to be a professor.

I really wish that Hannity had a button to cut off Colmes’ mike. It really makes the show unpleasant.

Hard to be a Professor if you are conservative. Might even get fired if links to FR are revealed.

Except for teaching, the life didn’t interest me at all. In hard science and engineering (where I was) there are more conservatives than you might think, but they keep their heads down low, for sure.

Keep going libs! Blood in the water, rescue is hours away. “OMG it’s a shark!” No, no, it’s Sarahcuda! She’s going to sink the media elite - without saying a word!

Yes, the University of Idaho is called “U of I” I grew up 25 miles away from Moscow ID which is where the U of I is located. The town and school are only 8 miles away from Pullman, WA the home of Washington State University. I didn’t attend either school (thought they were too close to home) but one of my best friends attended U of I and graduated in 87. I often visited him at school (drinking age in ID at the time was 19). Haven’t had a chance to talk with him this week to see if he knew her then. I’d like to think that I bought her a beer on one of my trips to Moscow. They had a very good 1AA football team at that time, coached by Dennis Erickson.

That’s where I was too. I liked it. The ratio of gals to guys back then in Engineering was about 6 to 1. :)

I’d like to keep thinking that most libs are good people. They just support the wrong policies and candidate. (IMHO)

So, I believe that many of them, well at least some, were mortified by the actions of the vultures toward Palin and particularly her children.

She went to North Idaho College the same time I did!

I don’t remember ever meeting her...

The problem with libs, is, they want the government with you, from cradle to grave. I want the government to manage infrastructure and defense of the nation. As soon as they stop the flow of illegals, and show me a country with all the roads, and water systems, and power and communication systems running in tip top shape, they can talk to me about managing more. Even then, I'd refer them back to the Constitution.

Might be that I was born in Alaska...

You guys worked hard!

My wife says we just knew what we wanted, and did what we had to do to achieve it. Mostly it was fun. (Except for the 6 weeks apart during our first year of marriage. I came back to a "working wife", who had found us a much nicer apartment, a 2BR in a 6 plex (4 1BRs and 2 2BRs) in a reasonably decent neighborhood. (My brother and his new wife would later also live just around the corner from there, but we were long gone by then.). Our first place was the bottom floor of a converted house, with the bath and bedroom being an "add on", because all the original bedrooms were upstairs, and got converted to other uses (kitchen and LR)
