Remarks At Detroit Economic Club, Detroit, MI, 5/7/07I give Obama a pass. Would he have said the same thing after all was known? I doubt it.

Seriously, Kilpatrick fairs as a NORMAL friend of Obama—crime doesn’t repel Obama. And of course Kilpatrick is only a mayor and Obama has made clear how little he values mayors.

I'm grateful to call him a friend and a colleague and I'm looking forward to a lengthy collaboration in terms of making sure that Detroit does well in the future." (Sen. Barack Obama, Remarks At Detroit Economic Club, Detroit, MI, 5/7/07)What is a Kwame?
I would suggest a bus with a suspension kit to elevate the wheels so the bus can run the fat slob over....

Zerobama is such a stellar judge of character, isn’t he?
Seems to me, that’s one talent we need in our President - the ability to quickly size people up and know who and what they are.

Caylee Anthony’s mom Casey better hope Obama doesn’t compliment her on how good a mother she is.

Add another one that Obama holds up as his friends. He sure is giving his race a good name.

Obama is turning out to be quite the fine judge of character! Do you here laughter Pharoh?
To: Glenn
In January 2006, seventeen months before Obama made these remarks, Kilpatrick was stripped of his special administrative discretion over Detroit city funds because he awarded over $150MM in no-bid contracts to a number of groups and individuals, including his own campaign manager.
The investigation into those transactions was still ongoing.
This was fairly well-covered in the press.
