OReilly is on at 8 EDT. McCain doesn’t come on til well after OReilly is done. It’s actually a good chance to compare the two on the same night.
O’Reilly didn’t run the whole interview, it seems that the plans changed after the outrage that O’Reilly listeners were expressing on the radio two days ago.
It also seems as though O’Reilly has been lying about the Obama interview. He knew that he was going to get the interview and agreed to lay off Obama in the mean time. O’Reilly says that the Obama campaign called and agreed to do the interview if it would air on the same night as the McCain speech, which would have been horrendous since O’Reilly also agreed to no embarrassing questions. His interview on security was a flop. He didn’t even get Obama to admit that he had made a mistake in not voting for the surge, and he didn’t get Obama to offer one thing that he would do to promote national security. We don’t know one detail that we didn’t know before. O’Reilly sold his soul to get the interview.
I wish someone would tell O’Reilly that Hussein is Obama’s given middle name, it is not a slur. If Obama didn’t like his middle name, he would have had it legally changed.
