I noticed during the post speech coverage that many commentators were wondering out loud that maybe the Democrats may be having second thoughts about Biden vs. Palin. In listening to Rush this morning, he brought up the same thing, and I wonder if Sarah Palin has flipped the script and that the Democrats may be seeking a better match against Gov. Palin. Normally I would dismiss this, but this is a crazy election cycle and McCain has shown that he is continuing to out maneuver Obama in an election that should be a slam dunk for Dems and Obama may need a game changer. Any thoughts?
Anybody got an update on Hillary's campaign schedule? I haven't seen hair nor hide of her since the DNC.
It’s an argument that has backfired on them. They compared Obama to Palin because he has no experience and they thought the public would buy their argument that she has none either. Some do and we won’t get their votes, but we wouldn’t have anyway. Now that she has thrown their argument out of the ballpark, they may need to huddle to develop a new strategy. It will be interesting to see what they come up with.

Hillary would have been a stronger, savvier and smoother candidate than both of these two buffoons put together.
The adults in the Democrat party must surely realize this by now.
Last night Rudy mentioned that “Biden better get that VP thing in writing.”
Personally, I think this was more than just a random stab, but a pre-emptive strike to make such a thing even more difficult for Obama. There was some talk on FR the other day about Biden being a little sauced at a PA rally. And I did some searching to find there are some rumors about that kind of thing. (I doubt any of it is substantiated). However, it hit me that this could be a way to replace Biden with Hillary. But, like others have said, that would be a huge sign of desperation so I doubt it would ever happen.
biden makes up for those teeny little shortcomings of the one. Where the one is without experience, No. 2 has lots of it. Shucks to here him tell it he was the one who taught algore all about the Internet.
Even the socialist who have taken over the democrat party are smart enough to back away from what is about to envelope that group of traitors.
I watched pmsnbc last night—1st time in 4 or 5 years— I was looking for a little shadenfreude, and I got it. As Mark Steyn has written, the media attack on Sarah backfired big time. I knew she would knock it out of the park (just as I know she will kick Biden’s ass when the time comes) and I wanted to see the nbc turds treatment of her speech. You could tell they were aghast and had turned very, very worried. All in all, it was a pretty nice feeling.

In order for this to work, Biden would have to resign, citing ‘personal reasons’, or some such. Obama can’t be seen to reject him. But, one wonders, wasn’t it Governor Palin that everyone was betting on Intrade would be the one to drop out. Even if Biden ‘quits’, it will be seen that Palin has scared Obama.
Maybe Obama could make Biden go all the way and have the sex change operation. How bad does Obama want to win, anyway?

1. Yes, she’s changed the dynamics of the race.
2. Barry shouldn’t have picked Bozo the Biden in the first place. That said, having picked him anyway and touted him as undoubtedly ready to be president if necessary, I think it’d be difficult if not impossible to dump him at this point. And even if he did bite the bullet and do it...everybody still saw him pick Biden in the first place, and it’s too late to unsee that genius move.
If Fauxbama flips his VP now, he basically is done. The VP pick is the first serious decision he’s had to make and if he calls for a mulligan on it, he’s done.
The Dems have made their bed. Why should Hillary run in and save Fauxbama? She wants President not VP.. she’s quite happy to sit back, watch him crash and burn and then run virtually unopposed as the president. Let the anti-Hillary folks learn their lesson and come crawling back in 12.
There is no net gain for HillBilly to save Fauxbama.

Rudy said that, considering Obama’s pattern of changing his mind, Biden should get the VP offer in writing. ha!
Not a chance. Obama could no more drop Biden at this stage than McCain could drop Palin should some unforseen issue come up. For better or worse, both presidential candidates will rise or fall with their vice-presidential picks.
What to do, what to do. I will be very interested to see the tack Hillary takes. Right now, she is in the "throwing ashtrays and candlesticks" stage.
