basically it was a story of emotion.

A small group of folks who’s loved ones hadn’t been accounted for demanded the Taxpayers spend bunches of money looking for said MIA’s.

McCain, saw the odds were slim and voted against spending the Taxpayers money on this quest to quell a handful of peoples anguish.

As I recall that was 20 years after Vietnam

It was emotional.

Based on his knowledge he thought it was a was of taxpayer money. He honestly believed there was no hope. Some familys were hysterical in differing

My husband held that against McCain for years. But he has apparently decided just in the last couple of months and most especially tonight, to forgive McCain.
