She went on this rant about Bush is a moron, the war is wrong, the economy sucks, and everyone hates McCain.

The teleprompter went down even before she started her speech. I think they eventually got it fixed, though. But the point is, that it didn't even rattle Palin. I also understand from her head speech coach Ms. Wallace (related to Chris Wallace by marriage) this morning, that they even forgot to put her speech notes on the podium until the very last minute.

Thanks for reminding us of that detail.

Were there ever “steel plants” in Chicago that closed in the 80s? Really?

The point that no one mentions is that if anyone tried to open a “steel plant” in the south side of Chicago TODAY to give all those people jobs....he would immediately be sued for “environmental racism” and be tiee up in court forever and it would never open.
