I’m as pumped as anyone after that speech last night but I don’t think anyone should underestimate the liberals or the media.

they are many things - but not stupid. you can see it already this morning - she got great traction by positioning not only the dems but the east coast media elite as her opponents as well.

i believe that the media sees that and most of the main stream media will soften their criticim “just enough” to not let themselves be used as a pawn in this race.

The MSM isn’t the only game in town.

It occured to me that Reagan - a president loved by Americans, and despised by the media, who won reelection in a landslide - didn’t have the powerful alternative media.

He was totally up against a few hostile networks and newspapers who had a lustre of authority and objectiveness that has since peeled away over the past 10 years.

Palin has today’s much changed media landscape to work with.
