Jeez.. This teleprompter operator had no trouble with Romney, Huckabee or Giuliani's speeches.

It was interesting though... Watching NBC’s brief coverage, they came on at 10:00 when Rudy came out. I never noticed anything unusual. But when Sarah Palin started her speech, there was a split second delay between the audio and the video that I didn’t recall being there for Rudy. It was just enough to distract an uninterested person’s attention from the speech.

Her broadcast background saved her here. Prompter foul ups happen all the time in the industry, and on-air talent know how to deal with it w/o the audience knowing.

The folks at Fox News this morning were saying that the teleprompter was speeding through Rudy’s speech also, running through “paragraphs at a time”.
