Note to Peggy - It ain’t over til its over. I applaud McCain for this pick and he’ll stick by her come hell or highwater. Unlike Peggy and her cocktail party friends McCain would die rather than throw Palin under the bus. I think people in the heartland realize how one-sided the media has been. Obama has an endless corps of servile sycophants in the press. How any person with self-respect could pile on a pregnant seventeen year old is beyond my comprehension. Kinda reminds me The Scarlet Letter’s Hester Prynne. But instead of branding her with an “A” I guess they’d brand her with a “B” just like Obama’s Rapper and Hip Hop friends who call our mothers, sisters and daughters bitches and hoes. Disgusting. There’s no one more vicious than these bastards who would humiliate this girl and the Palin family. I feel a spiritual bond with Sarah Palin and her family. I hope she senses it tonight. By the millions we should serve as a mantle of protection and support. I hope she draws strength from us.

More people can identify with the Palins in this situation that the leftist elites can even think of; either because they've been there, or are related to someone who has. I seriously doubt there's an American today that doesn't know someone in the unwed pregnant teen category. When they criticize them, they criticize mainstream America.
What they don't realize in their stereotyping of the (religious) right, is that we're about forgiveness. The right isn't going to brand this girl with a scarlet "A" like they like to think we will.
