For the sake of clarity, how much was budgeted the previous year? Or was this a completely new project? I can’t figure it out from the press coverage.
In other words, was the $3.9 million up from zero the previous year, or some other figure? The press never says either way.
It was up from 1.2 or 1.8 million the previous year (I’ll go check the numbers and post)

Gov. Palin didnt slash anything from anybody. In fact, it seems that cutting from $5.0MM (Proposed) to $3.9MM (actual) wasnt too bad a deal for Covenant House Alaska, seeing that in 2006 their revenue from the govt was only $1.2MM.
