Maggots actually have useful and redeeming purposes the scheme of things - accelerate decay, food source for critters, etc. They even have medical applications for removing dead flesh.One of the coolest things I ever saw...was a patient with a bad sternal infection...that was given "medical" maggots for the wound.
You could see them under the duoderm dressing. Awesome..!!

Okay... I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have enjoyed that... And the person cleaning up after me probably wouldn’t either...
I mean, I am glad they had a fix - but I wouldn’t like to look at it...
