Megyn Kelly was on with O’Reilly last night and was outraged by the media bias. Her argument was that Sarah being scrutinized far more than men would ever be. No contest with that.

I'll contest that. Women don't always have it worse than men by virtue of their sex alone. Any Republican candidate has always been scrutinized more (and more unfairly) than any Democrat candidate has. If say Pawlenty was the pick instead of Palin we still would be having the same number of press bias conversations IMO.

People can argue over a specific point here or there being sexist, but I really don't view this as a sexism problem. It's power hunger at all costs, pure and simple. Had this been Romney or Cantor or Huckabee, we'd still be fighting off the media hacks, still fighting off the smears, and maybe even still comparing two hopelessly biased Us magazine covers. :-) It's just the details of the attacks (He's a Jew... he's a flip flopper... he's a Mormon... he's a Christian!) would be different.
