Look PackerBronco. Although this is a satire it isnt one bit funny. I know some common folk around here who are at the shooting stage of anger and things like this do not help even though it is supposed to be a piece on humor.
As I said. There are a good many folk I know who are actually at the stage of going to a Democrat event and shoot the place up. I have to say that It might even drive me off the edge and join them.

Enough is enough.

Well, satire has two purposes: one is humor and the other is to illuminate absurdity by taking current events to the next logical level. I apologize to anyone who misinterpreted my post as being literal news. I should have been more explicit in the title that this was satire.

I have been absolutely amazed by the last few days. If anyone had written a post predicting that reporters and commentators would be attacking Sarah Palin's character and judgement for giving birth to a Down's syndrome baby; would be seriously postulating that the baby was not hers, and would then attack the character of her 17 year-old daughter, I would have said they were nuts and paranoid. I might even had dismissed it as satire.

We live in sad and strange times. I don't know if there is a word describing the emotion of angered astonishment, but that is what I'm feeling today.
