Quick correction: Typical White Person - After stating his grandmother was racist prejudiced, during the 2008 Presidential Primary, Barack Obama describer here as a "typical White Person". Now used as a tongue-in-cheek term by FReepers.

I was suggesting that PUMA be added to the lexicon. 8^)

We’re starting to see a lot of text messaging short hand.
For instance, “I <3 FR” = I Heart Free Republic
Here’s a link to an acronym list that might prove useful for the lexicon.

I usually let common acronyms go since they can be found on other sites. I try to limit things to fairly FR specific stuff as the Lexicon is pretty big already (IMO). But thanks for the suggestions.

I’ll add it as an aka to the revised pic rule.

I'd also like to offer up my term from 2004:
"Zogbyism"
I've used it frequently since the media's manipulation of election reporting.
We need to use Zogby's name as the left has used Senator McCarthy's.
Zogbyism will forever more be the term for a leftist media snowjob designed to sway public opinion.
example: "The Zogbyism in this campaign almost gave John Kerry an unearned victory."
"The media's rampant Zogbyism night after night with forged memos and DNC coordinated smears drove many conservative voters to the polls in a defiant statement of 'Hell, no! We want Bush!'"

And what about "Film Actors' Guild"?
The name of the organization (not the acronym) appears in the keyword of updates on the members as depicted onscreen in Team America.

I’ve always understood “Willard” to be Mitt Romney.

I am deeply saddened to see "ENEMEDIA" did not make the Lexicon. Huffington tried to steal the term a while back. Many FReepers now use the term and I have also seen it used on a number of other sites and blogs.
The term ENEMEDIA was born on FreeRepublic.com on October 31, 2005 during a late night brainstorming session.

You're right. That will be added.
Randall - I'm going to credit you with coining the term (see the link at post#72), correct me if I'm wrong in doing so.
All - I'll compile this year's additions and post a 2008 Lexicon for folks to comment on sometime next week. In the mean time, feel free to continue to make suggestions on new and current content.

Glad you liked it. It wasn’t deemed worthy of the lexicon. ;-/
