T. Boone Pickens claims the U.S. has only 3% of the world’s oil reserves. I am skeptical: Does that figure include oil sands and oil shale, and, separately what happens if Canada is added to U.S. reserves, figuring in oil sands and oil shale?
Also, does that 3% include all oil within, say, 100 miles of the U.S. coastline?
Someone here should have that information...
