I agree with almost everything said therein, however, in all fairness, I would have to see the reasons anyone voted against an all- alaskan pipeline versus a pipeline that traversed through Canada. I know a little about the Alaskan pipe-in, I spent four years working on it, from Valdez to Prudhoe Bay. It was a dumb idea to bring supertankers into Valdez. When I worked on it, they told us small tankers would transport the oil from the bay to supertankers out of the bay.
There was a lot of politics involved in sending the pipe through Alaska, and as much as I’d like to condemn plugs for everything he’s ever done, voting aqainst the all- Alaskan pipeline might not have been his worst transgression.
That said, there is no comparison of plugs the tired boorish hack and bright, energetic Sarah Palin. Salt and pepper pale in comparison to the McCain-Palin winning ticket.
