Well if you look, it started as a thread about a python until 5 people jumped in with comments about vicious pit bulls / german shepherds / other breeds typically preferred by thugs.
Just trying to point out that the most territorial breed you can find is going to be a better companion if you give it attention, exercise, and training versus a soft-and-cuddly breed that you neglect. And if I had small children, I would CERTAINLY rather have a pit bull scooting around on the floor with them and following them around the yard, because that dog would never back down from any threat to them (in fact, it’s not uncommon for them to drag wandering kids back from streets).
Glad to see at least ViLaLuz speaking up in their defense.

Poppy cock, dogs are bread for all kinds of different qualities, hunting, herding, racing, and yes fighting..
This is not just about strength or speed there is also disposition. The Gray hound, for all its speed is a couch potatoes and the runs pretty much across the breed.
