Huh?
Money.
It always comes to Money.
The Williams Arena holds 20,325.
The Target Center holds 20,500.
1% larger is "far-larger"?
I seriously doubt McCain is going to be able to draw heavily on a lot of Paul’s supporters. Maybe the more “conventional” libertarians, perhaps. But Paul also drew in a lot of anti-war types, and folks from all across the spectrum, and I can’t see a lot of those backing Johnny Mac.

It has to be set up a certain way for these things.
Williams arena can hold around 11,000.
The Target center can hold around 19,900 people for these types of gatherings and events.
It should be very interesting to see if the McMinions are as welcoming of Paul supporters as they are the Clintonistas.
I’ve met RP and he is a decent man.
Not POTUS material, though.
Yeah, but it could help McCain by having the Anti-War crowd vote for Barr instead of supporting Obama.
I would welcome any and all McCain supporter’s, it’s a big tent we should have! Ron Paul has some good ideas. Dh and I though decided that he is like the drunk uncle at Christmas, he starts a story but then veers off the cliff at some point! ;)
I wouldn’t mind having Paul supporters vote mcCain-Palin in November
That could put us over the top!
True but probably a step or two closer than Palin.
He has been characterized as an 'anti-war' candidate but he could be more aptly described as an anti-other-people's war candidate. I checked his platform in order to be accurate and he advocates getting the 9/11 terrorists and that would take war, our war.
"America first. That is what Ron Pauls national defense proposal is all about. And with America he means all Americans, not just the elite. If elected President, Ron Paul will continue his efforts to secure our borders, hunt down the 9/11 terrorist planners (who are still at large), safely withdraw our troops from Iraq and other countries around the world, and finally overhaul the intelligence apparatus in cooperation with intelligence professionals rather than political opportunists."
Anyone that wont support Israel or thinks our foreign policy is to blame for 9/11 is not POTUS material!
I noticed a big Ron Paul sign behind a protester who was screaming at a Fox Reporter (Griff?) that he had blood on his hands. He never would let the reporter talk, he just kept screaming over him.

The Palin selection is a home run for conservatives and John McCain, but not necessarily a grand slam. Heres the curve ball that could win it for McCain: He should announce an offensive against runaway federal spending. One of his first acts will be to establish a presidential committee to study ways to reduce the size of the federal government. And that the chairman of the committee will be Congressman Ron Paul.
Republicans have conveniently forgotten what a huge following Congressman Paul has among federalists, fiscal conservatives, as well as independents. In our own county convention in Austin, Texas, Pauls delegates had a near majority. There is a place for him in a truly maverick Republican administration.
While many of his viewsespecially on the warare not consistent with other Republicans, his views on LESS GOVERNMENT are very Republican. And he brings an enthusiastic crowd to the campaign.

Ron Paul for Sect of Treasury to dismantle the Federal Reserve?
Ron Paul for Sect of Treasury to dismantle the Federal Reserve?
A lot of the Ron Paul supporters are not ever going to support John McCain no matter what he does. That said, McCain is probably wise to extend an olive branch to Ron Paul. Who knows, maybe some of the saner Paul followers will return to the fold..
