Hey Wagglebee, I am inclined to agree with you. I think the libs are in full panic mode. Just look and see how deep they are digging for dirt on Gov. Palin.

Clearly, Fagan has some ax to grind as he's applying a non-response by Palin as a response according to his set of rules.

Perhaps, but this article was written in JANUARY and Palin still maintains an 80%+ approval rating in Alaska.

The reality is that the one with "an ax to grind" is FReeper steve-b.

Tastes OK to me. I’m still gonna vote for McWhatshisname-Palin, but not with the same enthusiasm I recently had.

All I can say is, either this Lyda Greene is one first-class ugly-on-the-inside she-devil, or Sarah Palin is not as mature as I assumed she was. Her less-than-classy behavior, as mentioned by Mr. Fagan (who is apparently not a class act himself), reminds me of Robin Quivers on the Howard Stern show.

There’s nothing in the article about Palin’s conduct except his opinions and descriptions of it.

No factual info about Palin’s conduct, just biased opinions.

So what conduct are you referring to?

Well, look for the good, because you know that our opponents cook every meal with poison.

Out of forensic curiosity, did you listen to a tape of the radio show, or did you just read the screed?

Seriously. It looks like people in this thread believe Sarah Palin made these comments. She did not. So....

Again. Not a big deal. Sheesh!

Steve, Steve, Steve . . . No. Well, you’re sort of right, but not either. - You see, John Kerry hired Mister Magoo to vet John Edwards for his VP choice a few years ago.

Edwards (who obviously cannot control HIMSELF, came within a hair’s breadth of being the Democrat’s offering to us this go round for POTUS).

Edwards, too, might have hired Inspector Clouseau to vet for his VP choice and Clouseau would have told him, “Edwards, you need to tap Hillary Clinton for VP, if you want to win.” - But, of course, Edwards would have also hired Mister Magoo as well and would have ended up with Joe Biden as his VP pick.

McCain, on the other hand, recognized the hidden instincts of Inspector Clouseau and hired him to vet his short list for VP. Clouseau said, “McCain, you need to tap Governor Sarah Palin of the great state of Alaska for VP, if you want to win.”

McCain listened.

This story is SEVEN MONTHS OLD, this was a newspaper article in January talking about Palin's appearance on a radio show.

We HAVE NO idea in what way it was subsequently addressed. What we DO KNOW is that Governor Palin has an 80%+ approval rating in Alaska, so it is obvious that this event is OLD NEWS.

The anti-Palin attack here comes not from a newspaper (nobody back in January had any clue who the GOP nominee would be much less the running mate), it comes from a FReeper and that is ever more despicable.

Then (sigh) why is thread even here?

Some folks around here are frantically searching for any reason at all to dislike her. To them, some loser DJ’s opinion is “evidence” enough. Can’t reason with those types. I’m just content to watch them bitterly accept the outcome in Nov.

And please note that all the outrage from Alaska is coming from the Alaskan media. Palin has an 80% approval rating from the voters up there.

At the end of the day, maybe that’s what’s got the Dems scared; that Congress has an approval rating lower than Bush’s, and Palin is widely popular by 4 out of 5 people in her state.

And by the way, if some radio shock jock is making fun of my opponent and comments on her cankles or fat @$$, and I start laughing, it doesn’t mean I’m insensitive, it means I know how to laugh at a good joke. She took on her own party for the good of Alaska, she’s earned the right to laugh at her fat opponent.

Let’s have Palin host the opening of Saturday Night Live (forget that swimmer and his medallions) and roast the political establishment.

Good question.

This isn’t even a hit piece, it’s a seven month old OP-ED on an issue which has long since been forgotten, it’s being USED as a hit piece by someone who claims to be conservative.
