Lieberman’s speech did not inspire the the Republican base that much. But it did reach out to the fence sitters and old time Scoop Jackson democrats. Maybe it was a positive. It had to frost the moonbats noses.

He's the last of the Scoop Jackson Democrats. He put country before party and he believes in a strong America. Lieberman is very disenchanted with the direction in which the Democrats have been going. I think he helped with the independents which is why he was here tonight.
