All these walkin'-on-water holy rollers are getting a bit tiresome, no? I'm a bit concerned about how many of them are ready to throw Palin under the bus because she doesn't live up to their standards of perfect family life. I seem to remember a bible verse advising us to take care of the beam in our own eye, but obviously these folks exert a firm hand over their own families, ensuring utter perfection and allowing them to judge the rest of us sinners.

This is our one chance in many years to get a real, salt-of-the-earth conservative in a major position in the GOP. See if that ever happens again if the nuttier side of our coalition manage to help the scared libs run her off of the ticket. Good luck getting anything other than a country-club Republican on the ticket for the next 50 years. Why subject yourself to that from your so-called allies?

I don't think one FReeper ever said that having children out of wedlock was a good thing.

It's just the self righteous pricks that think they don't sin or understand what “Judge not, that you be not judged” means have the capacity to understand what taking responsibility for one's sins looks like.
