Birth control never fails?

Odds are against it.

Teenagers always follow mom's advice and teachings?

Obviously not, if mom's advice and teachings were abstinence only.

So, it does fail. You just prefer not to confront that directly because you prefer to make the girl look bad.

Obviously not, if mom's advice and teachings were abstinence only.

You don't know what Mom taught this daughter. Sometimes, even kids who have been taught to use birth control don't do it. Kids are kids and sometimes they do dumb, risky and impulsive things even if their parents have cautioned them against dumb things.
