What is ironic is that this type situation was posed as a hypothetical to Mr. and Mrs. Dan Quayle in the run-up to the 88 election.

IIRC, the soon to be VP equivocated on his answer while Mrs. Quayle gave her husband a nasty look then remained resolute saying the child would be born. Period.

The thing many even on this board don't seem to understand is that being Christian doesn't keep us from messing up, but it defines and determines the actions we take once the consequences of our behaviors must be confronted.
