Forever. Attempt to get their candidate elected. What makes you think MOST people think adoption is the best solution? IHMO, the "best solution" is one that does not kill the baby. All the rest is secondary. The media would keep it active in an attempt to make republicans look bad. It's the same reason that you can rarely read an article about Ted Bundy without seeing it mentioned that he was a republican.
No one is saying that she has to get married. If they want to, great, if not that's okay, too. Like everything else in this situation, it's really none of my business.
As for how would the media get the info, how did the Obama campaign get his opponent's divorce records unsealed?? In this day and age, nothing completely private when a relative is in the spotlight.
The baby will probably not be born, at least not adoptable, until after the election is over. I don't see at all how harassing the adoptive family would help their candidate get elected. I don't see how harassing the adoptive family would make Palin look bad. If the baby isn't adopted, is the press going to harass the newlywed parents? Why not? They will be easier to locate.
What makes you think MOST people think adoption is the best solution?
What makes you think I think that? I have no idea what MOST people think. I am reported the opinion of a demographic I have observed.
I see now what you were referring to in your post to me. When I wrote "If most people think. . ." , I was offering it as a hypothetical. I don't know whether they do. I know that many do. I shouldn't post when I am rushing out the door.
I guess what I should have written is, "If most people aren't against adoption, blah, blah," because it seems most aren't. But, I don't know with certainty. I know some pro-abortion people are against adoption.
I am sorry that I didn't catch your meaning that when I first read your reply to me and I am sorry I replied the way I did with respect to that statement.
