No matter how negative someone wants to make this, it is not. The initial first reaction may be of surprise. First, as simple as it sounds, these things happen, it’s happened forever. It’s how we handle these situations that counts. Her daughter is handling this with responsibility and by being an example of her pro-life values. Maybe God will use her to be an encouragement to those in similar situations. The situation makes the Palin family even more identifiable to others. May God bless the Palin family richly, strongly, to stand up to adversity with grace. That they will never be ashamed of the beauty of life when it is given to them. Prayers for the McCain and Palin family.

My family published a book of our ancestors. My greatgrandparents were married in 1869. Their first child was born 6 monthes later. They had 15 children and some of the girls were pregnant when they got married so this is not new or unique. I come from a very good family. Salt of the earth sort of people but evidently they still got pregnant before marriage even back in the 1800’s.
