Common sense says that you’re welcome to try to keep teenagers separate, but they do this thing called ‘rebellion,’ and they sneak out. But what do I know? I’m just a father of teenagers, with the white hairs in my beard, and the scary memories to prove it.
It is a given that sneaking out can happen. But if that happens you can honestly say you did your best. I bugs me that people who let their daughters go out with boys alone cant fathom that they could and do have sex. Certainly there is the potential. Keep them separated. Thats what my pastor says.
