Her daughter will be due around January, right when Gov Palin would be taking office. God forbid anything happens to McCain at the start of his term health wise. I believe in a woman’s right to work. But being pro family means that your family comes first. I truly believe Gov Palin needs to step aside. Let her son be raised out of infancy. Her daughter married, stable with a new baby, then think about national office in 4 to 8 years.

That is WAY too casual a statement, and a very, very dangerous assumption to make. A VP needs to be able to take on the full duties of President should the worst occur, and I’m sorry but with McCain’s age and health history this is NOT a remote possibility. Palin HAS to be ready, Day One, to lead the most powerful nation on the planet. Is she? If she is distracted by the maelstrom of big things going on in her life to the point of not being able to fully helm this country, it is not just she who will suffer but the entire world.
